Every independent coach is a small business. Rally runs it.

AI-powered software and marketplace for independent coaches. Starting in Los Angeles with youth sports plus adult golf and tennis.

RAISING$2M SAFE
LAUNCHLos Angeles, May 2027
The problem

A growing market still run on texts, Venmo, and memory.

$40B+annual youth-sports spend, all categories (not just lessons)
+46%growth in per-athlete spending, 2019 to 2024
$1,016per child per year on their primary sport alone

Coaches run a business on texts and Venmo

Scheduling, payments and marketing are scattered across SMS, Venmo and calendar apps. The leading marketplace keeps 43% of a coach's first session with a new client.

Parents can't vet a stranger or see what they pay for

Reputation is word of mouth. An hour happens and money changes hands, with no record of what was worked on or what comes next.

Every session starts from memory

A coach's notes live in their head or a notebook. Nothing carries from one week to the next, so progress is never visible and form or overuse issues are easy to miss.

The solution

Rally: AI-powered business software and marketplace for independent coaches

FOR COACHES

Keep 100% of your rate.

Scheduling, payments, AI session notes, Autopilot outreach on Mid-Tier and a vetted profile in one app, from $19.99 a month. Rally also puts you in front of families you would not reach alone, so your market grows.

FOR ATHLETES AND FAMILIES

Find a vetted coach and see progress.

Weekly plans for skill, strength, injury prevention and mental game, free with ads. $14.99 a month adds the growth record, video library and no ads. More vetted coaches to choose from, in one place.

FOR ADULT LEARNERS

Golf and tennis from day one.

The same coaches teach both youth and adults, so the same app and the same record serve both.

Not just a better booking app. A better coaching relationship.

How it works

Every session makes the next one sharper

  • 1

    Book a verified coach

Search by sport, level and location. Book solo or as a group.

  • 2

    The session runs

    Scheduling and payment already handled.

  • 3

Coach captures the lesson or logs a note

Voice or text notes, or AI capture with family consent.

  • 4

AI builds the assessment and plan

Takeaways, next focus, and form and recovery cues.

  • 5

    Athlete does simple at-home work

Light coach-assigned work: strength, mobility, recovery.

  • 6

    Next session starts informed

Progress, form and load tracked across every session.

Notes are the backbone. The loop works fully without video.

RALLY COACH ENGINE

A sport-specific coaching engine

  • Deep library of sport- and position-specific instruction, drills and progressions
  • Age-appropriate coaching and training load, from youth to adult
  • Learns each athlete and shows parents progress
  • Strength, injury-prevention and mental-game work sized to age and commitment

Coach approves, every time

The engine drafts the plan, and Autopilot drafts coach outreach. The coach approves both before anyone sees them.

At launch: AI turns voice and text notes into coach-approved plans. Audio capture, video and image analysis and the deeper sport library build out with beta data. Illustrative mockups.

About 2,450 sports clubs in LA

Amateur sports clubs and leagues in the LA metro (nonprofit directory). Volleyball alone: 196 clubs in USA Volleyball's Southern California and Southern Nevada region.

Up to ~$6.5K in equivalent acquisition spend per club

At 15 coaches and ~100 families per club, one club sale stands in for up to about $6.5K of paid acquisition, at $131 per coach and $45 per family, if none of them would otherwise have joined. The LA clubs we checked list 11 to 35 coaches.

One sale brings both sides

The club brings its coaches (supply) and pushes its families to join (demand). Those coaches then teach private sessions to families outside the club.

Every verified coach passes the same screening

Identity confirmation

Government ID matched to the person creating the profile.

Criminal background check

County, state and national history via a licensed FCRA-compliant vendor.

Sex-offender registry search

Cross-checked against the national registry in every screening.

A failed or flagged check means no badge.

Annual re-screening

Verification expires and renews every year.

One-time $24.99 onboarding, required to be listed; vetting costs Rally $19.99 and annual re-screening is covered by the subscription. No outside documents or checks are accepted. A coach without a badge is not listed. The $19.99 is an estimate pending a vendor quote.

Recording is opt-in by design

Off by default

Audio, video and photos stay off for every coach until the family says yes. Plans run on coach notes alone.

$23.7M a year run-rate by end of 2031 in the base case, across 23 metros; $52.6M in the breakout case across 60.

Why now

Per-athlete spending is up 46% since 2019. AI can now turn a coach's ordinary notes into a structured development record, cheaply enough to build into a marketplace. The supply exists: 3,447 school, college and club coaches and athletes are available to fill the 1,444 new slots.
